The MIRACLE of Adoption!!!

I have been trying to keep it in but I'm about to EXPLODE!!! We are going to be welcoming a perfect little baby boy into our family on Tuesday morning! Here is a little recap of how we got to this point. As of last summer, I had started the process of BEGGING Mike once again for another little one... he tried to say no, but its not something he can easily say to me. We started all of the paperwork again around the first of October and were complete and approved again within a few weeks. At this point we had said our preference was for a little girl. Something just didn't feel right that next month and a half. After much prayer and though, I had decided that maybe a baby girl wasn't God's plan for us this time, maybe he had a little something different in mind. We contacted our agency and told them that we wanted to open up or preference to boy or girl. I felt much more at piece about it all for the next month and a half. We waited, our profile was shown to a few situations, we were almost scammed, and we waited more. On January 4th a situation came up on facebook that caught my eye, an African American baby boy due January 10th. I begged, and begged, and begged Mike to let our profile be shown. In the mean while I had contacted the agency and sent an application and our profile. On a whim the social worker felt like she should show us, so she did. She called me and said I shouldn't have done this but I showed you, and... "SHE LOVES YOU!!! " Now I had to convince Mike, so I prayed and prayed that the big man would give me a little help on this... he did! Friday I ran to SLC to finish a little paperwork, and the most miraculous thing happen. I was able to meet our babies birth mother. She is such an amazing woman, and seems like a wonderful person. I am so happy that God choose such a sweet, kind, perfect woman to carry our little man to his forever family! So thats it, that is what I have been trying so hard to keep secret but just can't anymore because I am like a little kid on Christmas!!! So please pray for all of us... please pray that our birth mother has peace in her heart and guidance from her savior... please pray that I will survive the next 2 days!!! :)

That is what most of you are probably going to be thinking as you are reading this post. It is going to be a HUGE vent session, and you probably really could care less... so if you don't read on... don't worry it won't hurt my feelings. First of all I am so sorry I have been a big huge busy slacker! I was looking on my camera the other day so I could find some picture to put on the old bloggy blog... and guess what... none... I have a few pictures from Halloween but I didn't even get very many great ones then either. Ah... Its because I am OBSESSED! You see we have started the process of trying to adopt again... now some of you have been through this whole process... for those of you who haven't it is FUN! Most days I love that we have been so blessed... and get to experience this amazing blessing. Today and last week it is making my miserable... it is all I think about... I mean obviously I am busy with life but every second that I stop its on my mind, I'm so sorry to sound sooooo negative about it... I just wish that I could have a little better control of myself!!! So that was my little vent... now onto the fun of it. We are working with the same agency that we used with MaCee's adoption. I love them they brought us our first little princess. Because we do have 4 children we think it may be a little bit harder this time around... so we have decided to not only go through one agency we are applying with multiple agencies and the help of consultants... and praying like crazy that our sweet little angel will find us. This is a little off subject... but tonight after we had put the kids down Avery came in and said, "Mom I know that you have been wanting a baby sister for MaCee... So I prayed for her." I love kids!!! So if anyone makes it to this point in my post... Pray for us... and selfishly I am going to ask you to Pray for me... Pray that the Lord will guide me... and let me know patience... and peace... because I know that he has a plan... I just sometimes have a hard time waiting for his plan to play out! Oh and for any of you Adoption Veterans... If you have any suggestions... They would be appreciated! Thanks!

Every year since Mike and I were married, Mike has passed on hunting season. Not this year, daddy has been gone ALL week... and what have we been doing you may ask? Well I little bit of everything!!! We have secretly been planning our week long party. The first day I told the older boy they could pick WHATEVER they wanted for dinner... they both yelled PANCAKES!!! I love Mike but pancakes for dinner... I can handle that! The second night they wanted Spaghetti Tacos (an ICarly special!) We will be SOOOO happy when daddy gets home tomorrow... but we have had a blast!

I set up the boys tent in Avery's room so they could have a lttle camp out! Brax is grumpy because I wouldn't shut the door to the tent... little moody man!

Little Dally has finally turned NICE... oh my goodness what a relief! He has been so mean to me, if I ever say I love you.. he swiftly replies... I don't love you! The last couple of weeks he has been so sweet, he tells me mommy your the best ever! Ahhhh I am loving this new little attitude!

I researched & researched for months before we adopted MaCee. I researched hair, skin, etc, etc!!! Nothing I read could have prepared me for what it would be like. When we were in the hospital it seemed as though her hair was a little wavy, but mostly straight.

I learned very quickly that this was not true... Our first day home I washed her hair and this is what I saw! Curls... Curls... Curls! In the beginning these curls were EASY! Now they have gotten longer and a little bit harder to comb out.

So recently I decided I needed to get back to researching... After multiple videos online, I decided to try yarn braids!!! I think they turned out pretty cute... and I can't complain because the only cost was 2 dollars in yarn! MaCee was such a little sweetie and sat for 3 hours while I finished he whole head. Have I ever said what a little angel she is... I don't know many 17 month old babies that would sit for 3 hours! Love this little girl... and all of the wonderful things she is bringing into our lives!

Over the last 17 months our lil mocha babies hair has changed in so many ways... but I think I have learned as we've gone, and we are finally getting it figured out!!!

As the end of summer draws near, my heart is filled with sadness!!! I hear people getting excited for the kids to go back to school... I on the other hand am so so sad! Avery will be in 1st grad, and my little Brax will be a kindergartner... Tear Tear! We have been trying to have as many fun filled days as possible before its over.

Summer Lovin... Or Lovin Us Some SUMMER!!!

Life has been crazy!!! I can't believe that July is almost over. We have been super busy doing... well I'm not really sure what we have been doing, but its been keeping us busy! You may think I am a horrible mother... but I let my little boys watch the 2nd Transformers. That was probably the worst mistake I have ever made in my WHOLE life! Saying that they are obsessed would be putting it lightly! We decided that it would be fun to take them to the opening night of Transformers 3, this is a picture of them in front of the big display. I barely made it, but the boys LOVED it!!! It was so fun to spend a little alone time with our big boys!

Our favorite place to be in the summer is at the Ranch! My husbands family have a cute little cabin about 45 minutes away from our house. You can't be reached on a cell phone... and it is our little getaway!!! We have been loving spending some of our summer afternoons up at the Ranch!

This post is mostly for me... but you are all welcome to check out our fun yard renovations! After 5 years, 3 more babies, and not enough time to get out in the yard like we want to. We finally decided to hire a landscaper and have them get it cleaned up! The first 2 pictures are from the first day. The next ones are from tonight. We still need to get grass planted in a few places but it looks amazing, I am so excited to finally be able to enjoy our backyard!!!

This year has been so weird... so much snow up in the mountains we can still snowmobile... but it has finally warmed up enough we can swim so that is exactly what we have been doing snowmobiling, sledding, fishing and swimming!!!

When Dalyn was born we thought that he was our last little baby. My heart was so sad, about 3 days after having a tubal ligation due to health issues I cried my little heart out. Its such a sad feeling to not have that option! When Dalyn was about 1 I felt something (someone), I felt a special little spirit was somewhere and I brought the idea of adoption up to Mike. Months passed I begged and pleaded NO NO NO is all he would say. Finally one day he came around to the idea... 5 months later I met that little someone that I had felt in my heart... I knew it the second I saw her! These 2 little cutie are so in love its so cute, Dalyn is her protector! Here are some pics of my cute little Angel babies!!!

SUMMER... SUMMER...SUMMER!!! The nice weather has finally arrived and we are soaking up every second! I thought once school was out and we had a little more down time I would be getting some serious blogging in... but its not happening yet... and I'm not seeing it happening anytime soon life is just getting busy, busy, busy! Here is a little preview of what we have been up to and what is to come. May, of wonderful May... was jam packed! First we had our little Dally Wally's Birthday, I am so horrible I had gotten a few things ahead of time just in case it was to busy as his Birthday arrived, forgot I had gotten them, they are still out in the garage I guess we will just save them for something else. Brax graduated from Pre-School, I don't think I have ever seen a little boy love school like he does, he tells everyone, after summer I get to go to Kindergarten! For Christmas my mom and step father gave Mike & I tickets to U2, we got to cash in on those tickets, it was AMAZING!!! Now for June, 6 perfect years ago I married my High School SwEeThEaRt, and then we lived happily ever after! Oh my goodness I know that sometimes you look at blogs and think how can they have such a perfect little life no ones life can really be that perfect... Well I'm sorry mine is, we have our occasional fights... my Lupus sometimes gets the best of me... and we have days that my neighbors probably think my children are abused from all of the screaming back and forth... but they aren't and I always kick that Lupus right in the butt!!! I thank the Lord everyday for this man that puts up with me... with every little quirky and crazy thing about me... and still loves me! Well six years later the 4th is a Saturday and Mike's sister and now brother-in-law decided to get married on that day also! Congrats you 2 little cuties!!! The next week Mike had a day off so we headed to the city and took the kids to the Living Aquarium... MaCee loves snakes... I can't believe that my sweet little girls LIKES snakes! One more day off the next week, back to the city we go, the Mayan & Good Things Utah!!! Sorry I kind of skip around... I know I'm hard to follow but if I don't write it down ill forget, so its in my language!!! :)

I never never wanted to be one of those bloggers that seemed like all of there posts were about being sick... but sorry that is what you are getting lately and if you don't like it... don't read on! About 2 1/2 years ago I had Meningitis, I was in and out of the hospital for about 2 months, lost 30 lbs. in 2 weeks was on my death bed. My Rheumatologist decided that the best option at that point would be Chemo, in some Auto Immune cases they resort to Chemo to get it into remission. It WORKED!!! It was amazing my Lupus has been so in control since then... until a little over a month ago, I was super sick I posted about it. So now the same symptoms are coming back I am having very severe muscle pain. Honestly the best way to explain it would be that I worked out way to hard, and now I'm feeling it today, but I didn't work out really hard I slept! I went into the my doctor yesterday, we have decided to do Chemo again, so I am preparing for some sick days, but I've done it before and can do it again if it means I will be healthy for a few more years, I am just hoping & praying it works as well as the last time! So what I am hoping is that all of you.... my amazing blogging friends, will pray! Pray for my sweet little babies, that they will feel safe and ok through all of this.... That my poor hubby will be as amazing as he always is and have the strength to put up with me... and that this treatment works, so that I can be the mommy and wife that I need to be! Thanks!!!

April has been crazy busy, and I can't believe its almost over! We started off the month with Little Miss MaCee's birthday... I am still amazed that one year has already passed, I know that all of you may not want to hear the story, but I am going to tell it for my sake! April 9th 2010, 8:15 I am getting the kids breakfast, my cell phone rings. It is our social worker, she says, "We have a little girl that was born this morning, her mother wants the agency to choose a family, if you want her shes yours!" Now I may not be saying that all right, it was kind of a blur after the fact, but ahhhhh I will never forget that PERFECT day!!! I immediately started preparing our house for a new baby. Mike had worked the night before and was sound asleep, with no idea that in just a few short hours we would be heading to Salt Lake to meet our sweet little princess that we had only known in our hearts until that point! As I was caring a load of laundry into our room one time, he opened his eyes, I had to tell him "We are getting our baby GIRL!" The drive to Salt Lake seemed like a trip around the world FOREVER! When we walked into the hospital all of the nurses told us that our baby was such a beautiful little girl, I couldn't believe that they were saying "MY BABY" she was ours! What an amazing feeling when we walked into the nursery I knew it was her, I knew it because I had know her in my heart for soooo long, just wasn't ever able to picture her, ahhhh seriously a feeling that I will NEVER forget!!! I got to spend 2 amazing days in the hospital with her, Mike wouldn't share her, every time I wanted to hold her he would say, "She is fine, shes comfy with me!" I'm telling you this little girl had her daddy wrapped around her finger from the moment that he laid eyes on her! The rest is history, it has been such an amazing year our 3 boys needed a little sister!

We stayed Easter Eve with Mike's family in Park City, it was such a fun night!

I am so horrible I didn't take very many pics of Easter because Mike's mom always takes so many pictures I figured I would just copy hers! So sorry more Easter pics later!

So once again I have been slacking. This time I actually have a good excuse and I'm gonna use it! I haven't been feeling well for a while now, this is something that regularly happens around our house, since I do have Lupus. I thought this time was a little different than most. It just seemed like one of those times were I don't just kick it on my own... I was right, I just didn't take care of it fast enough. No worries I am back on the mend I thought yesterday I was feeling 110% better, and acted on that, today I am on the couch wishing I wouldn't have done quite SO much yesterday, I am slowly learning my limits! Blah I sure do not like Lupus at all!!! The first few days we stayed with Mike's parents... I really do not know what we would do without all of the amazing family we are surrounded by. In Salt Lake my mom was quick to run up and help me while I was having my MRI. When we arrived back in Duchesne, the house was spotless, dinner was being brought in, and plenty of people around to help with all of the kids!!! Now that I am feeling a little better, we are home, but between Mike's mom & Sisters we have had plenty of help! Thank you so much to everyone!

Wow lately I have been feeling so busy... but if you asked me what I have been doing I would reply "Nothing!" That seems to be the story of our lives 100 miles an hour all the time, yet nothing ever gets done. I love it, its my crazy life that I love! That little Miss isn't feeling well!!! MaCee has many things she loves, but two of her favorites are Patty Cake & Food! This past week its seems like EVERYONE is sick. Many of you know I am an essential oil addict, so of course I have been trying everyday to oil our little family up to prevent us from getting all of these little bugs that are floating around. Well Thursday one finally got us, well MaCee. Now back to the things that she loves it is a very rare occurrence that you can't get a smile out of her by singing Patty Cake, in her saddest moments (when Dalyn takes something from her) Patty Cake still makes her smile! Next food, MaCee loves her food, I may have mentioned this before but I think she get that from me. She loves everything, she eats more than the boys its so cute, and I'm so happy to have a little girl that enjoys food like I do! It breaks my heart that she so sick she doesn't even get to enjoy her food & Patty Cake!

K be prepared for cheesy because this is!!! Nine years ago I was stood up, I was feeling pretty lame. My best friend at the time told me she new a cute guy that she was sure would love to take me out, so I agreed to go on my first blind date. I could never have imagined that days, weeks, months, years later I would be head over heels in love with this "guy." I am so lucky to get to be the women he comes home to every night. I'm so blessed to get to be the mommy to his four little rugrats!!! There isn't a day that goes by that I'm not thankful for my amazing life!

This week has been filled with so much fun! Braxton is a lover of life, he has loved having this be his Birthday week & he shared with me a little! All week he has been saying to the other kids,"Don't do that its my Birthday" about anything that bothers him. I know I talked a little about when he was born in a post a while back, but I'm going to again because he is such a little miracle! On the night of February 8th 2006 I wasn't feeling well, but only being 27 weeks along I figured it wasn't a big deal and I would just sleep it off. The next morning I was in so much pain I could hardly even stand, so we called my midwife and asked what they wanted us to do. They told us to head to the nearest ER immediately. When we got to the hospital I felt a gush of fluid thinking my water had broke I was so worried, well it hadn't but worse, I was bleeding ALOT! Life flight was called, they checked me & I was dilated to a 7. The whole time on life flight I kept praying that we would make it to Salt Lake because if not I didn't think this little man was going to make it! We arrived in Salt Lake they hurried and put me under so they could deliver our little miracle baby. He was born on 2/9/2006 at 2:59 PM weighing in at 2 lbs. 13 oz. & 17 inches, he was a BIG CHUNK!!! The next 8 weeks were a roller coaster, but we survived and 5 years later are so thankful that we get to be the parents of this little miracle boy!!!

To celebrate Braxton's Birthday & mine Mike took the day off and we headed to the city for 24 hours of fun! Mike asked if I wanted to go out to a fancy restaurant & I said yes Olive Garden! After a 45 minute wait, which ended up not being to bad the whole time everyone was googling over little miss celebrity MaCee we finally sat down and enjoyed a DELICIOUS meal!!! That night we stayed and the Staybridge Inn & Suites in Salt Lake it was a blast if you get a chance take your kids. They have a water park that is PERFECT for our kids age! The next day was a blast Incredible Pizza Company, Frogurt, Costa Vida (my favorite) and the best part lots of fun times with my little family!!! Now for the fun part of this... How old am I bahahaha you'll never know!!! :)

I have been so blessed in my life to have such amazing people as examples to me. On the 1st we celebrated my "Granny Honeys" birthday, she turned 85, what a wonderful women. She is the mother of 12 biological children, I think she is the person I get my love of being a mother from! I remember her 80th birthday party we had a big party, it was on a Saturday I wasn't feeling that great, little did I know 5 days later I would be on life flight headed to Salt Lake to deliver my little Braxton 3 months early! This Saturday we celebrated my Step Brother Forest's birthday. I had to laugh he is Autistic, he loves to read so I decided to give him a little money to get a good book with. When he opened the card and saw money he said in his disappointed voice "More money!"

For some reason this word is something that has been tugging at my heart lately, along with many other things. What is faith, to each of us that question would be answered differently to me it is so many things, and I think I am finally finding my way of living MY faith! When Mike and I were married we were young we were sick of mom and dad making us go to church every Sunday, and we didn't want to have anything to do with either of the churches we had been raised in. The next few years were very trying, and many of those times instead of turning to the Lord and asking for help I felt alone. At that point I pushed away from faith even more, I knew that he wasn't there for me. Now as I am on my journey to a better me, I think to myself, why when I don't ever ask for his guidance would I expect to feel it. I am sure in my times of need his sorrow for me has been so great, and I just turned my back. There is something that I would love to do that I came across days ago, and haven't been able to stop thinking about, there is a mission trip to Uganda in April that I would love to be a part of. I know that I live so selfishly and this could be the thing for me that may give me the strength I need! Pray for me, pray for the orphans, maybe this isn't my time, but if it is I think only a miracle is going to make it happen!

So for those of you who follow my oil blog you know that im kind of liking that quote and all of the ways I can change it to fit my life! Its Tuesday, Im watching my niece, just like every Tuesday. The reason this Tuesday is a little different is MaCee is sleeping, and the big boys are at school, so I am just hangin out with the Two year olds!!! These two are so cute, they adore each other, some of the ways I know this!

-Every time I say to Dalyn guess whos coming to our house he says, "CALI!" Even on Christmas Eve.

- When Nikki walked through the door today Cali about jumped out of her arms to give Dalyn a hug!

-Whenever we leave our house Dalyn says, "Are we going to Cali's house?

Anyway they are just the cutest little perfect friends, they adore each other, and it makes me so happy because they will always have this sweet little friendship that stemmed from such a young age!

Seeing this picture just makes me so happy... My three handsome boys, and perfectly angelic little girl!!!

I cannot believe that my first little baby has turned into this little man, he is so big!

Oh my Braxton, he will be 5 in February, I can't believe that just 5 years ago this little miracle was born weighing in at 2 lbs. 13 oz, and now has turned into this perfectly healthy little boy!

I love this picture, the tractor that Avery is sitting on is his Great Great Grandmas, and the wagon is there Great Grandmas, it will always mean something!

Last year in November is when we put our first paperwork into H2H, I never could have imagined when I walked into H2H that 5 months later I would be sitting in a nursery staring down at my beautiful little baby girl, tears running down my face! We are soooo blessed!

MaCee LOVES Avery, he is such an AMAZING big brother, the other boys love her soooo much, but Avery just has a special little connection with her!

There is that beautiful smile that makes my heart warm and fuzzy!

Our little Dally, he is such a little sweetie, about 3 months ago his tonsils started giving us problem and in November we decided to fix that with surgery. It was the best thing we could have ever done for this little guy, he has turned into the happiest little talkative thing ever! Also I have to tell you this boy has also turned into a destructo machine, in the last 24 hours he has: spilled about 5 cups of ice down on the wood floor, poured a cup of coffee out on his rug, and poured all of the creamer out, gotta love him!!!

One day after school this week we decided to get some use out of the sleds Avery & Braxton had gotten from Santa it was a blast. There sleds really are pretty amazing, they go so fast and steer great! Half way through our little sledding trip there pet deer came over and wouldn't leave the kids alone, Dalyn loves deer so he was so excited he went right up and kissed it. Here are some pics!!!

MaCee is such a good girl she sat in her car seat all snuggled most of the time but finally wanted to get out and see what all of the snow was about!

Christmas Break...

This Christmas was the first year that we had "Christmas Break", before this year we didn't have any kids in school so we got to have break year round! I have been dreading Avery going back to school all weekend... but as Brax was telling me just a few days ago "that is the way life is mom!" We had such a fun time while the kids were out. One of the first days off we went with one of my good friends out to dinner and to see Santa with all of the kids!

This year our family has been so blessed, our biggest blessing being the adoption of our little girl, but also so many other things! This has made me start thinking so much about service for others, and teaching my children about the true meaning of Christmas, so while searching for something to do I can across a Women's and Children's shelter in Salt Lake called Rescue Haven. They are in need of Women's and Childrens items (clothing, toys, etc.) new or used!!! Ok first of all in my defense I shouldn't have done this over Thanksgiving break... Its been a little hectic! Also Dalyn had his tonsils out yesterday so that has stalled my blogging a little. He is doing well and recovering like a champ, he is such a little cutie! LOVE HIM!!! Back to the challenge, Day 8 is a place you have traveled. I am gonna have to say the cruise that we went on with Mike's family is the most recent and fun vacation I have had. When I was young we vacationed a lot, but I don't have all of those pics so the cruise it will be! It was so fun, and relaxing, after the first few days! The first few days I would think of the boys and cry, look at pics of the boys and cry, I was such a big baby.

The question of the day is... My favorite movie! Ok I know this is going to seem so wrong, but, I don't really like movies at all. I mean I guess its not that I don't like them, its just that every time I sit down to watch one I feel so guilty because I have a list of 50 things I should be doing instead! I think I inherited this horrible gene from my momma she can't stand to sit through a movie either. So now your probably thinking oh man I bet her house is soooo clean she doesn't watch movies, NO this is incorrect for some crazy little 4 reasons it is not! Now to really answer the questions, my favorite movie right now I would have to say its a toss up between How To Train Your Dragon and Toy Story 3, because those are the two movies right now that seem to keep my kiddos entertained for long enough that I can get one of my 50 things done!!! I LOVE MY LIFE!!!

A song that makes me cry! It's called Goodbye's (The Saddest Word.) This song is so sad to me because beside my biggest fear (the fear of losing one of my children) is my fear that they may someday lose me to my lupus. I don't think any child should have to grow without a mommy there to wipe there tears, and put band aids on there little boo boos. I want to help them learn and be with them through all of the little mistakes teenagers HAVE to make to learn! Also I don't want to miss any part of my children's lives, I hate even thinking that I may not get to meet my little grand babies, or miss a wedding! So I guess I may be a little conceded but I think that I'm kind of a big deal! :) By the way this song is # 5 on my play list.

Something I'm looking forward to. This is soooo easy... CHRISTMAS!!! Like I said in my first post I am like a little kid on Christmas, I usually have to wake my kids up because I can't take it anymore. When I was younger and living at home every year I would have to beg my little sister and brother to go out and peek in our stalkings and at the stuff that Santa had brought. One of the years my dad even hide a video camera and caught us in the act!!! Even after I would peek I still couldn't sleep I would go back out 2 or 3 times in the night. Still to this day it isn't different I know all of the presents and I still can't sleep. I am so happy that Mike puts up with it and doesn't make me just lay in bed miserable. I guess he realizes that when he married me he also married the little kid that's inside screaming to get out!

Your siblings and parents. I realize that this probably just means my siblings and parents, but Mike's family has been so amazing and such a big part of our lives that I wanted to post about them also! This may be a little out of order but Ill fit everyone in somewhere.

This is Vanessa, the exchange student Mike parents had a couple of years ago... she was so fun and taught us sooo much, the boys still ask about there "sister" Vanessa.

Grandpa and Brax, I don't think that Mike's dad could be a better Grandpa, he is always calling and asking if the boys want to go haul cows or go up to the cabin! These boys are getting the best farm experience they possibly could, and they have an amazing teacher! Also I couldn't ask for a better father in-law he treats me just like one of his girls, I am so lucky to have such wonderful in-laws!

This is my dad, he is such an awesome guy and has over come sooo many obstacle's! He is a big tease and always keeps me laughing. Love you dad!!!

These are my beautiful sister inlaws!!! They are going to kill me when they see that I put this picture up. It is so hard being away from my family, but these girls are always there to talk and wipe my tears when I'm missing my "mommy" I don't know what I would do without these two.

K I know this is not very appropriate but this is the only picture I could find of my little brother. It kills me to see him growing up he is my little Joshy Bear! I love this kid, and hate to see him having to learn things the hard way, but I guess that's just life! Love you Joshy Bear!

This is my Step-father man am I so lucky I get to have three daddies! He is so amazing, and makes my mom so happy which is of course what I have always wanted!

This is my mom! Sigh... I may not have always understood what you had in store for me or that you always wanted what was best for me, but now I do! Being a mom has really helped me to appreciate all that my mom always did for us, she was always the team mom, always brought donuts after test days, and the list goes on and on! Love you mom!!!

This is my mother inlaw, Dalyn (my little boy), and my adorable little niece Cali! Where to begin, this women has taken me under her wing, bad and good and loved me for it all. When I was sick a couple of years ago and had been in and out of the hospital for about 2 months. She came out to Salt Lake to bring the kids to visit me I was sooooo sick. I hadn't been sleeping very much AT ALL... She was exhausted but she talked and talked to me until I fell asleep, and then when I woke up a half an hour later she talked some more! She has taught me to be the mother that my children need! I really don't know where I would be today without her as an example in my life! I Love you Nancy!

This is my little sister! This girl sure can make me madder than anyone else, but no matter what I still love her! Right now she isn't speaking to me and I'm not really sure why, but it kills me. People die, accidents happen, and if it ended like this I wold be so heart broken! So Sarah if you read this post, I love you, I will not let someone be negative in my life, but I do love you, and always will, no matter what!!!

Mike's little brother Kaden! My boys couldn't ask for a better uncle, he is always putting up with having to take them on the four wheelers, outside, he even came and picked Avery up for school the other day! He is an amazing athlete and a straight A student, what a good example my boys have!

K I am missing two people, Casey and Austin, my brother in law, and my future brother in law. We have so much fun when all of the family gets together!

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all!!!

The thing that stresses me out the most!

The list really could go on and on but if I must say one thing that stresses me out the most right now... It would have to be MaCee's birth mother! When we were in the hospital she decided that she didn't want to meet us, which we were ok with, if thats what she wanted. I cannot even imagine what was going on in her head, so I wanted her to have the time she needed to grieve. I won't lie as we walked through the hospital halls I secretly hoped we would run into her. I prayed and prayed for her to have peace in her heart and know that her little girl would be loved soooo much by so many people (including her birth family.) When we signed she had decided that she wanted a semi- open adoption, to me this meant that maybe there was a chance that she would be a little part of ours and MaCee's life. In the last 7 months I have sent pictures, a book, letter, to the agency and that is were it has stayed by her choice. It breaks my heart not being able to talk to her, and know how she feels, I feel completely in the dark. I would love to have a relationship with her, and at least let her know that MaCee is doing well. I just wish she could see a little video of MaCee's life, and I think that would help her a little bit, at least I hope it would. So maybe I am just being silly and need to let it go, but it sure does weigh on my mind often!!! If anyone has any suggestions I am open! Also I did not mean to offend anyone by this post so please take it as it is meant... I know that birth mothers are special little angels in our lives, I just wish we could have ours!

10- I am a huge cry baby... everything makes me cry now. I guess its just because I see that life isn't perfect and I hate to see others hurt knowing the road ahead is not going to be an easy one!

11- I am soooo madly in love with Gary Allan, but he doesn't know it yet! :)

12- I would probably have 15 kids if my hubby would let me... It's a good thing one of us thinks logically.

13- I am a little OCD, just about somethings.

14- I am like a little kid on Christmas, usually about 5 I can't take it anymore and talk Mike into letting me wake the kids up!

A year ago if you would have asked me this question, I probably would have said yes. If I was asked this question today I would answer yes again, but not for the same reasons as a year ago! I do believe that MaCee was sent to our family by our heavenly father and that her little soul would have made it to our family no matter what package it was delivered in! It just works out that it is the cutest little milk chocolate package I've ever seen!!! Monday I took MaCee to her 6 month appointment I had to laugh she is a little bowling ball... She weighed 15 lbs. 15 oz (75%) and she was 24 1/2 inches (10%) this little girl loves to eat just like her momma! MaCee has the sweetest personality, she is such a little cheese. She loves her brothers and everything they do is so interesting to her. She is completely a mommas girl, ok, and maybe a little bit a daddy's girl! She is 100% PRINCESS, I didn't realize a 6 month old baby could be such a little princess! She is a little love, and has brought so much joy to our family that we didn't even realize was missing. As I sit here writing this post, and looking down at the little angel asleep in my arms all I keep thinking is, I so lucky to get to be this little girls mommy!!!

First I would like to start by saying my children are my favorite part of my life! The most amazing thing I have ever done is be a mom I LOVE IT! The only thing that I really ever want to be is a mom and wife, and I know that I am so blessed to get to be!!! Now I would like to say that ever parent needs a BREAK now and then and on the 24th I got mine!!! Mike and I have been enjoying our little half an hour of comedy before bed the last few months and at the end of the show Daniel Tosh always added come see us on the Tosh 2010 Tour. So after a while of watching how much Mike was enjoying this guy a light turned on and I realized that this would make the perfect birthday for Mike and little break for me! So on the 24th we took all four of the kids to my little sister ( I don't think she will EVER offer to do this again) and we headed to the airport. It was so crazy walking through the airport with no children just Mike and I and so wonderful! When you are the mom and dad of four amazing little muchkins it is hard to make time for each other, so we soaked up every second! We arrived in Tucson about 5:30 went to the hotel relaxed for a while and then got all dressed up for our night out! Just for the record if any of you ever decide to venture to Tucson the airport is about 20 minutes away from downtown Tucson I didn't realize that and got a hotel near the airport rather than near the entertainment, that made for a long wait for a taxi, anyway that's beside the point. So we headed up to where all of the fun apparently is, and it was! It is kind of a college town so the night life is very fun and busy!!! We went to a great little restaurant a steak in the neighborhood, the food was delicious and it was a very cute little place on what we thought at that time was one of the main streets but it gets much more fun than that! After dinner we headed over to the music hall to enjoy Daniel Tosh. He was hilarious and it was so fun to enjoy with my hubby. We then headed over to what really where the main streets and people watched for a few hours which is always funny! It was so wonderful to go to bed knowing that the alarm clock that you can't snooze would not be waking me in the morning, but I still was wide awake at 7:30 and missing my kids! We enjoyed breakfast in the hotel and headed over to the airport. We were only gone for 24 hours, but it was so wonderful and refreshing!!! So for all of you amazing parents who haven't heard of one of these (a break) they are AMAZING, you all should have one occasionally whether it be for an hour or a few days it is a much needed thing!!!

When I was young and thought into the future I wanted to be an anesthesiologist, I wanted 2 children, and all of the materialistic things in the world. Then life happened it wasn't perfect, I was very ill off and on, and I realized that the most important things in life aren't THINGS! I never could have imagined that my life would be filled with so many blessings, of course there are 5 that immediately enter my mind! My amazing husband and 4 perfect little children, each in their own way!!! Next all of our awesome extended family & friends, I really don't know how we would have made it without all of you. Also the amazing community we live in, no one ever hesitates to lend a hand! Now I strive everyday to be a better person, a better example, and a friend that someone would like to have. Anyway, the point of all of this is its what has gotten me to were I am now happier than I ever have been and content with life!!!

Growing up I loved spending time with my cousins our visits were usually far and few between but always a blast... although I think most ended with everyone happy that they were over! That is why I love that my kids have cousins all around, especially my little niece Cali she is such a doll and the boys have so much fun with her, I know that MaCee and Cali and going to be great friends!!!

While looking on a friends blog I stumbled across the saddest story... a few days ago a little girl fell into a canal she traveled 1 1/2 miles before being taken out by 2 farmers, was life flighted to a hospital near her home, and then sent to Primary Childrens. While reading the families blog I cried and cried. I am sure many of you share the same fear that I do, my worst fear is loosing one of my children, they are what I live for! This family has shown such strength and trust in our Lord! Now this afternoon Preslee passed away, such a sweet little one gone to be with her Heavenly Father, and in such a short time on earth affected so many people... I know that she changed my life!!! Please pray for her family they need every pray that we have!!! And live and love to the fullest you never know which day will be your last!

Summer Fun!

We have been spending many of our summer days at the pool since Mike is working EVERYDAY! This past week we had such a blast Nikki and Cali, and Daisy, Harley, and Haven, and Tiff and Harley came swimming also, the kids had a blast! Dalyn and Cali are always so cute together even when they are fighting its cute, but on this particular day they happened to be getting along!

These two little cuties had so much fun splashing!

Avery kept trying to help Harley, but everytime he would dunk her under while trying to bring her back to the shallow end.

Daisy and cute little Haven, MaCee and Haven are exactly 1 month apart... I think they will be the cutest little Salt and Pepper!

You can tell how much MaCee enjoyed our swimming adventure she slept the whole time!

Stitches

2010 is our year for stitches... knock on wood! With three boys it is amazing to be able to say this (especially with Avery) but our first set of stitches was Easter this year! Well much to my suprise it was just the beginning. Two months later we were back in the ER, poor little Brax was getting his second set of stitches!!! These are pictures of the first set, the second set we were in Salt Lake and I didn't have my camera but its a great story. He got into a gun fight... this was not just any gun fight, it was a Nerf gun fight. Just a warning if you hit a Nerf gun into your lip with force, it will slice your lip open!!!

Ok so I may be slacking a little in the blogging world... I am the mother of 4 busy little children... don't judge! :) MaCee will be 2 months old on the 9th, I can't believe it! Some of you may think I am a little crazy, but I wish that I could just pause life right here! I love it... My husband is the best in the world and would do anything for his family... my boys are amazing, loving, and completely adorable in everyway (even when they are making messes)... and MaCee is everything I never knew I always wanted! Life couldn't be better, well actually if I had a maid, and I could just spend all of my time loving on my kids that would be better! For Dalyn's birthday we had pictures taken and since we were already there I had to have more pics of my little PRINCESS, here are just a few I will be adding a slideshow later.

3 weeks old...

Wow!!! I can't believe that MaCee is three weeks old... I wanna cry! I love babies... I think that I am alot like my grandmother on my moms side, she had 12 children. I don't think I am going to make it to 12, 4 seems pretty perfect to me, but I do love children and I think if my health would allow it I may go for 12! It has been a wonderful, crazy, sleepless three weeks, and I have loved every second of it. Everytime I am up with MaCee in the night I just think I am so lucky to be the one who gets to be up with her! The boys are loving her they can't keep there little hands off of her. Dalyn has tried to pick her up a hand full of times which doesn't seem like much but two of those handful he almost dropped her on head. Avery and Braxton would hold her all day if the could, but Im just alittle nervous that they may forget that there holding her and jump up... dropping her on her head!

Cute little Dalyn... He has kind of had a hard time getting kicked out of the baby stop, but I think hes finally coming around to the idea of being a big brother!

Well I know that its not much but its alittle bit of an update on the last three weeks! We are just soaking it all up... I really don't think that it can get any better. It is such an amazing feeling to finally meet that little girl that you've known in your heart for so long!!! Oh by the way I forgot to tell everyone MaCee rolled over today... TWICE! It may be an accident but if she does it again Im gonna think that she is just a little genius... just like her big brothers!

I am a very sleep deprived but happy mother of three wonderful little boys... and as of 6 days ago a beautiful little girl! We got THE call friday April 9th at 8:17, I think I heard angels... the social worker said "A little girl was born this morning and her mother wants us to choose a family" I guess after that she must have told me that we had been choosen. Fast forward to that afternoon, the drive to Salt Lake was the longest drive of my life. We took the boys to my mother and headed up to the hospital to meet our little girl. When we walked in before even seeing her the nurses at the front desk told us that she was such a beautiful baby. When we walked in the nursery and saw her I didn't know what to do, once I picked her up I couldn't stop crying...She is so Perfect!

I got to room in with little Macee it was so wonderful! During the day the boys and Mike would come and visit, the boys could not keep there hands off of her and nothing has changed since we have been home. We are loving life, I think MaCee is just what we needed to finish off our little family! We could not have been more blessed... she is such a pleasant and peaceful little girl!

About a month ago my mother & stepfather invited us to attend a play with them... The day finally came!

Forest, Me, and My love!

We asked my aunt Catherine to watch the boys and we headed off to dinner and a play. It was amazing! We ate dinner at La Cucina Toscana... If you ever get a chance it is fabulous. After dinner we raced to the show.

The play was "Twelve Angry Men"

After the play we went for yogurt at this cute little place in downtown Salt Lake called Spoon Me! It was so fun... I think we were a little out numbered by college students but it was still a blast!

This was on the wall in the yogurt shop, I wish that I could remember the names of all the smoothies you could get... the only one I can think of is "Spoonin in the dark" anyway this was a really cute place!

Brax Turned 4!

Were to begin on Braxton he is such a kind and loving little boy. Brax tells me about 20 times a day he loves me I am so lucky! Breakfast Crescent

So I admit it I have a secret love affair with food... Please don't tell Mike!!! Since this is my second post on food in the last couple of days you had probably already figured it out. Its addicting I love it I love food so why not post about it thats why I post about my cute kids! So Maybe all of you out there in the blog world should take a little hint and post about food also... I would LOVE IT!!! Ok so now that I said all of that here it is.

Kind of random, Not gourmet in anyway, but still simply delicious this is seriously one of Mike's favorite meals! So you start by making scrambled eggs with all of your favorites we just like swiss cheese, colby jack, and some sliced ham, but others add peppers onions olives whatever you like add. While your eggs are cooking you are going to open two packages of pillsbury crescent rolls and lay them out on a cookie sheet. Once your eggs are almost done you put an 8 oz. package of cream cheese in and continue to let them cook until completely melted into the eggs. Then pour the whole mixture out onto your crescents then you just fold the crescent all into the middle put it in the oven for about 17 minutes on 350 and you are ready a yummy breakfast crescent!

Super Easy Thick Pizza Crust!

So I don't usually post about food but this is one of our favorites, so I decided to tell you all the recipe! And by the way this picture does not do it justice... I think it is because about half way through Dalyn opened the oven door and it was open for about 15 minutes so then I shut it and cooked it for a while longer but it kinda burned the toppings and bottom... so anyway just try it!!!

THICK PIZZA CRUST

1 C. of Sprite or Beer I prefer sprite

2 Tbsp. Sugar

1 Tbsp. Melted Butter

1 tsp. Salt

2 1/2 C. Flour

1 Tbsp. or Pkg. Yeast

Mix Sprite or Beer and butter. Add remaining ingredients. Mix, knead, and let rise to double. Press into pizza pan. If you like stuffed crust put string cheese in the crust. Add whatever topping you like!

Cook @ 375 until the crust turns golden.
